Nyack High School Music Department's performance of "O Fortuna, Ecce Gratum, Tanz (excerpt), and Chramer, gip die varwe mir" included 170 students.  Read more about this project on my blog post.

Jimerson String Festival 2011



Check out this video of our all district festival, The Jimerson String Festival 2011.  Our grand finale, Orpheus in the Underworld, was performed by almost 400 Nyack string players!  The piece was led by Matt Lucero, Ann Winze and Christine Gero.

National Orchestra Cup 
Grand Champions



The following 4 videos are from our performance at the 2010 National Orchestra Cup Competition at Lincoln Center, NYC.
Besides being awarded "Grand Champion," we also won "Best Strings Section" and our concertmaster, Matthew Picardi, won "Best Upper String Soloist."  

This is the Prelude from Edvard Grieg's Holberg Suite, Op. 40.
